Job Description:
Vice, the leading global youth media brand, is looking for passionate and creative interns to join our Summer Internship Program in the United Kingdom for 2024. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience working across various departments, collaborating with talented professionals, and contributing to content that engages millions of viewers globally.
Responsibilities:
- Depending on your specific placement, your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with research and content creation for online articles, video productions, and social media platforms.
- Conducting interviews and gathering information for assigned stories.
- Fact-checking and editing content to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Contributing to creative brainstorming sessions and pitching ideas.
- Shadowing journalists, editors, and producers to learn industry best practices.
- Supporting event production and coverage for Vice events (if applicable).

Requirements:
- Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program in a relevant field (journalism, media studies, English, film, etc.).
- Possess a strong passion for storytelling, current events, and youth culture.
- Demonstrate excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Be highly motivated, resourceful, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential.
- UK work authorization or eligible visa is required.
