Job Description:
The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Internship Programme offers a unique opportunity for outstanding students to gain valuable experience in the field of international development and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
Responsibilities
- Assist program staff with research, data analysis, and report writing, contributing to UNFPA’s global efforts.
- Participate in advocacy and outreach initiatives, raising awareness about SRHR and population issues.
- Support project development and implementation, gaining firsthand experience in UNFPA’s work on the ground (depending on the program and location).
- Contribute to creating social media content and engaging with online communities (may vary by program).
- Participate in field visits to UNFPA projects (depending on the program and location).
- Assist with other duties as assigned, aligned with your skills and interests.

Requirements
- Enrolled in a postgraduate degree program (master’s or higher) or final year of a first university degree program (such as bachelor’s) at the time of application.
- Demonstrated interest in international development, global health, or human rights, particularly SRHR.
- Strong commitment to UNFPA’s values of equality, non-discrimination, and respect for human dignity.
- Excellent research and writing skills in English; fluency in French, Spanish, or Arabic is a plus.
