Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with research and analysis of electoral policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Support the planning and delivery of public outreach and voter education campaigns.
  • Collaborate with team members on projects related to elections, referenda, and public consultations.
  • Collect and analyze data related to voter registration, turnout, and other election-related metrics.
  • Draft reports, policy briefs, and communication materials for internal and external use.
  • Participate in meetings, providing input and insights on assigned tasks.
  • Help organize and coordinate events, workshops, and seminars on electoral topics.
  • Monitor developments in UK election law and public policy.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth functioning of the department.

Education

  • Current undergraduate or graduate students in relevant fields such as political science, law, public administration, or social sciences.
  • A demonstrated interest in electoral systems, public policy, or governance is highly desirable.

Experience

  • Previous internships or work experience in government, public policy, or related fields are advantageous but not required.
  • Experience with research, data analysis, or public engagement activities is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the UK political system and electoral process is a plus.
