Job Description:

Simone Rocha is seeking passionate and talented undergraduate students to join their Internship Programme for 2024. Responsibilities:

• Assist with various design tasks, gaining exposure to different aspects of the design process.
• Support with research and trend analysis, providing creative input and ideas.
• Contribute to mood board development and fabric sourcing, collaborating with the design team.
• Assist with production tasks, ensuring quality and adhering to deadlines.
• Participate in photoshoots, fashion shows, and presentations, gaining insights into the operational side of the fashion industry.
• Help maintain studio organization and manage administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program related to fashion design, textiles, business, or a similar field.
• Strong passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail and trends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to learn new things.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of the fashion industry (a plus).

Skills:

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) (preferred).
• Knowledge of industry software like Gerber or similar (a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative and innovative thinking.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.

Experience:

• Previous experience in the fashion industry (internships, personal projects) is highly valued.
• Experience in design software or related fields is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing your creative abilities is encouraged.
