Sefton Council Internship is excited to offer internship opportunities as part of our Supported Employment Program for 2024. These internships are aimed at individuals who may require additional support in securing employment and want to gain hands-on experience working in various departments within the council. This program is designed to help build confidence, enhance skills, and provide valuable work experience to support future career paths.

Responsibilities:

  • Work within different departments of Sefton Council, such as administration, customer service, environmental services, or community outreach, depending on your interests and skills.
  • Provide general support to the assigned department, including data entry, record keeping, and basic office tasks.
  • Assist with project coordination, such as organizing meetings, preparing materials, and helping with events or initiatives.
  • Engage with the public and staff in a positive and professional manner, providing support where necessary.
  • Take part in workplace training and development programs offered through Sefton Council.
  • Collaborate with team members to support the day-to-day operations of your department.
  • Participate in team meetings, offering feedback and contributing to discussions on improving services and processes.

Requirements:
