Both the Undergraduate Internship and Apprenticeship programs are designed to develop leadership, technical skills, and an understanding of how the RAF operates. Successful candidates will experience a dynamic work environment and contribute directly to ongoing projects, operations, or innovations within the RAF.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily operations relevant to your assigned department (engineering, logistics, administration, etc.).
  • Support RAF personnel in technical and operational tasks.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of new RAF technologies or processes.
  • Participate in RAF projects, working closely with military and civilian teams.
  • Complete any assigned training and attend relevant briefings or workshops.
  • Contribute to maintaining safety, security, and professionalism in the workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a UK university for undergraduate programs (for internships).
  • GCSEs (including Maths and English) or equivalent for apprenticeships.
  • Applicants must be a UK citizen or hold a valid residency status.
  • For apprenticeships, you should be aged 16 or older.

Experience:

  • No prior military experience is required, but previous exposure to team-based environments is beneficial.
  • Interns should have completed at least one year of undergraduate study before starting the internship.
  • Apprenticeship applicants with a passion for hands-on learning and practical problem-solving will be favored.

Skills:

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • A high level of motivation, discipline, and enthusiasm.
  • Technical proficiency relevant to the field of interest (e.g., engineering, IT, aviation, etc.).
