Job Roles

The Peggy Guggenheim Internship is a multifaceted program offering placements in various departments, such as:

  • Curatorial: Assist with research, exhibition development, and educational programs.
  • Archival & Library: Help preserve and manage the museum’s invaluable archives and library.
  • Education & Public Programs: Develop and deliver engaging programs for diverse audiences.

Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong academic record with a demonstrated focus on modern and contemporary art

Experience Requirements

  • Volunteer or internship experience in a museum or cultural institution (highly preferred)
  • Relevant coursework or research experience in art history

Skills Requirements

  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English and Italian (highly desirable)
  • Passion for modern and contemporary art
