Job Description
Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) Internship is offering exciting opportunities for 2024. This program is designed to provide individuals with firsthand experience in the regulatory and inspection framework for schools, colleges, children’s services, and other educational institutions across England. As an intern, you will contribute to critical projects that support Ofsted’s mission of ensuring high standards in education and social care services. Responsibilities
As an intern at Ofsted, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting inspection teams by conducting data analysis and preparing reports on schools, colleges, or children’s services.
- Assisting in research and development projects focused on improving the quality and impact of inspections.
- Participating in administrative tasks, including organizing documents, tracking inspection outcomes, and coordinating meetings.
- Collaborating with various departments within Ofsted to ensure the smooth running of inspections and internal processes.
- Contributing to stakeholder engagement activities by assisting in communications with schools, local authorities, and educational institutions.
- Assisting in policy development and compliance monitoring across education and social care sectors.
- Attending internal meetings and training sessions to gain deeper insights into the workings of Ofsted and the public sector.

Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or postgraduate program.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Strong interest in education, children’s services, public sector work, or policy development.
Skills

Experience
- No previous experience in inspection or public service is required.
- Experience in research, data analysis, or administrative roles will be advantageous.
- A demonstrated interest in education, children’s services, or regulatory bodies is highly desirable.
