Responsibilities:

  • Participate in structured, meaningful work placements in various departments within the college or with external partners.
  • Attend regular meetings with mentors and job coaches to set personal goals and track progress.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to complete assigned tasks and projects.
  • Develop and improve practical, social, and employability skills through hands-on experience.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
  • Actively engage in training sessions to enhance workplace competencies.
  • Seek feedback and work on areas of improvement with the support of college staff.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be aged 16-24 years old.
  • Must have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • Be committed to completing the entire internship program.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and engage in the workplace.
  • Able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be a UK resident eligible to work in the UK.
