Job Roles
Interns will be placed on various projects within the NBA’s London office, with potential roles in areas like:
- International Marketing & Partnerships: Assisting with developing and managing marketing campaigns to grow the NBA’s fanbase in Europe.
- Basketball Operations: Supporting with event coordination, player relations, and grassroots basketball initiatives.
- Content & Social Media: Creating engaging content for the NBA’s European social media channels and assisting with digital strategy.
- Business Development & Operations: Helping with research and analysis related to the NBA’s European market and partnerships.
Education Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Sports Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
Experience Requirements
- Internship experience (especially in sports) or relevant volunteer work is a plus, but not mandatory.
Skills Requirements
- Deep passion for basketball and a strong understanding of the NBA.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms is preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional European languages are a benefit.
