Responsibilities
- Contribute to Mixmag’s digital presence by writing news and features for Mixmag.net
- Collaborate with the social media team to craft engaging content for various platforms
- Brainstorm and pitch innovative ideas for written, video, social media, and audio content
- Leverage your knowledge of dance and electronic music to curate content and identify artists for coverage
- Gain valuable experience working directly with Mixmag’s editors and learn the ropes of music media and the music industry

Requirements
- A burning passion for digital media, music journalism, and especially dance music
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate with a journalism degree, NCTJ qualification, or relevant experience in music journalism, digital media, and social media
- Proficiency in using photo editing software like Photoshop and video editing software like Premiere Pro
- Experience with content management systems is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, SoundCloud, and YouTube
- A go-getter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind brimming with innovative ideas to elevate Mixmag’s digital content
