Job Description:
The Fermilab Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate students the chance to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of particle physics and accelerator science. Interns work alongside world-renowned scientists and engineers on cutting-edge research projects.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will vary depending on the specific internship placement, but may include:
- Assisting researchers with ongoing projects
- Conducting research and analysis of experimental data
- Contributing to the development and testing of new technologies
- Learning about particle accelerators, detectors, and other scientific equipment
- Participating in data collection and analysis (for some internships)

Requirements:

- Previous research experience (in any field)
- Relevant coursework in physics, engineering, or computer science
