Policy Internships: These internships are available to doctoral students funded by any of the UK Research Councils (AHRC, BBSRC, ESRC, EPSRC, MRC, NERC, and STFC). They are typically 3 months long and provide students with the opportunity to gain experience working in a policy setting.
Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) Internships: These internships are available to students enrolled in an ESRC-funded DTP. They are typically 3 months long and provide students with the opportunity to gain experience working on a research project outside of their PhD studies.
Responsibilities:
Interns will typically be responsible for:
- Assisting with research projects
- Conducting research and analysis
- Writing reports and presentations
- Attending meetings and workshops
- Collaborating with other team members
