Job Description:
The Disney UK Internship Programme 2024 offers students the chance to immerse themselves in the world of Disney and experience what it’s like to be part of a global entertainment leader. The program provides hands-on work placements across various departments, including Marketing, Media Networks, Finance, Creative, Digital, HR, and more. Interns will be involved in day-to-day operations, collaborate on real-world projects, and gain invaluable industry knowledge while contributing to Disney’s mission of bringing joy and entertainment to audiences worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams across various Disney divisions, including Media, Marketing, Finance, and more, contributing to key projects and campaigns.
- Assist with project management, helping to coordinate timelines, resources, and communications between departments.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support in the development of creative content for digital platforms, social media, and marketing campaigns.
- Provide administrative support such as scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining records.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings, brainstorming sessions, and creative workshops to gain a holistic view of the company’s operations.
- Assist with event planning, logistics coordination, and attending Disney-hosted events or screenings.
Qualification:
- Must be currently pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree at a UK-based university and eligible for a year in industry placement as part of a sandwich degree course.
- A passion for the entertainment industry and a strong interest in Disney’s global brand.
- Strong academic performance, with coursework relevant to the chosen internship area (e.g., Marketing, Business, Media, Finance, etc.).
- Eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
Experience:
- Previous internships or work placements in media, entertainment, marketing, or business sectors are advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, content creation, project management, or other related fields will be beneficial.
- Experience working on university projects or extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership, creativity, or teamwork.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A proactive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Analytical skills, with the ability to research and interpret data effectively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace, with a bonus for knowledge of industry-specific tools like Adobe Creative Suite or digital analytics tools.
