  • Assist with the daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.

Qualifications

  • Must be a resident of Wolverhampton or surrounding areas.
  • Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a relevant qualification (such as a Level 2 or Level 3 apprenticeship, or equivalent diploma).
  • Strong interest in public service and local government operations.
  • Aged 16 or over at the start of the apprenticeship.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Experience

  • No prior professional experience is required, though experience through coursework, volunteer work, or part-time employment is beneficial.
  • Experience working in teams, customer service, or project-based work is an asset.

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
