Responsibilities:

  • Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting for ongoing census projects.

  • Collaborate with team members on projects related to census outreach, public awareness, and community engagement.
  • Review, organize, and analyze large sets of data using statistical software.
  • Support the development of public materials, presentations, and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program (undergraduate or graduate level).
  • Major or coursework in statistics, economics, sociology, public policy, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Experience:

  • No prior experience is required, though experience with data collection, research, or public policy is a plus.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS) or data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
