Job Description
Cardiff Council is offering a unique internship opportunity for graduates looking to kick-start their careers in public service. Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of projects and services in various council departments such as education, social services, environmental planning, and more.
- Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making processes within the council.
- Collaborate with team members on initiatives aimed at improving public services.
- Participate in meetings, presentations, and workshops to further understand local government functions.
- Provide administrative support, including preparing reports, managing documentation, and handling communications.

Qualifications
- Recent graduate (2023 or 2024) with a degree in a relevant discipline such as public administration, social sciences, environmental studies, law, business management, or a related field.
- A strong interest in public service, community development, or local government.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Experience
- Previous work experience in a related field or voluntary roles within a community organization, government body, or non-profit sector is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities or leadership roles will be considered an asset.
