  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks in your assigned department, such as education, social services, housing, planning, or community engagement.
  • Support ongoing projects, research, and initiatives that impact the residents of Bury.
  • Attend team meetings, take minutes, and contribute ideas to improve council services.
  • Help organize and participate in community events, workshops, and outreach programs.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and communication materials for internal and public use.
  • Collaborate with different council departments and external partners to achieve common goals.
  • Provide customer service support by responding to inquiries from the public and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Currently a student (college or university level) with an interest in public service, government, social work, or community development.
  • Authorization to work or intern in the UK for the duration of the internship.

Experience:
