Job Roles
Internship placements vary based on current needs, but may involve projects in areas such as:
- Research & Advocacy: Assisting with research on human rights abuses, developing campaign materials, and advocating for policy change.
- Communications & Media: Supporting with crafting press releases, managing social media accounts, and raising public awareness about human rights issues.
- Law & Policy: Contributing to legal research on human rights violations and supporting policy development efforts.

Education Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Human Rights, International Relations, Law, Political Science, or Communications.
- Master’s students may also be considered for some positions.
Experience Requirements
- Prior internship or volunteer experience in a human rights organization is a plus, but not mandatory.
Skills Requirements
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional UN languages a benefit).
- A passion for human rights and a commitment to social justice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and research databases (if applicable).
