Job Overview
AIG Investments is seeking bright and ambitious graduate students for its 2024 Internship Graduate Program. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of investment management alongside experienced professionals.
Job Roles
Interns will be placed in various teams based on their skills and interests, with potential roles in different areas like:
- Equity Research: Assisting portfolio managers with researching and analyzing potential investment opportunities.
- Portfolio Management: Supporting with portfolio construction, risk management, and performance analysis.
- Investment Operations: Gaining exposure to the behind-the-scenes operations of investment management.
- Client Services: Assisting with client onboarding, communication, and relationship management.
- Product Development: Contributing to the research and development of new investment products.
Education Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent).
- Recent graduates (within the past two years) with a strong undergraduate degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Mathematics, Statistics) may also be considered.
Experience Requirements
- Prior internship experience in finance is a plus, but not mandatory. A strong academic record and a demonstrable interest in investment management are essential.
Skills Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent quantitative and financial modeling skills (proficiency in Excel is a must).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for learning and staying up-to-date on market trends.
