  • Assist in day-to-day operations within your assigned department (e.g., programming, marketing, archiving, education).
  • Contribute to ongoing projects by conducting research, preparing materials, and supporting team activities.
  • Support events, screenings, and festivals organized by the BFI, including BFI Southbank and BFI London Film Festival.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, offering administrative support when required.
  • Assist in maintaining databases, handling communications, and preparing reports.
  • Help promote the BFI’s activities across various platforms, including social media and digital channels.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a university program (undergraduate or postgraduate), preferably in film studies, media, communications, or a related field.
  • A strong interest in film, media, and the creative industries.
  • Authorization to work or intern in the UK for the duration of the internship.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in film, media, marketing, or event management is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Involvement in extracurricular activities related to film, arts, or culture would be advantageous.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Enthusiasm for film and the wider cultural sector.
