Job Description
The LCIA Internship Graduate Students Programme offers a unique opportunity for aspiring legal professionals and recent graduates to gain firsthand experience in the world of international arbitration. You’ll work alongside experts on real cases, refine your legal skills, and contribute to a leading arbitral institution.
Responsibilities
- Assist with legal research and case analysis for ongoing arbitrations.
- Draft correspondence and other legal documents under supervision.
- Contribute to client communications and administrative tasks.
- Attend client meetings and hearings (subject to availability).
- Gain exposure to the practical aspects of international arbitration.
Qualifications
- Graduate student pursuing an LLM in international arbitration, commercial law, or a related field (preferred)
- Recent graduate with a strong academic background in law (considered)
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience (Preferred, but not mandatory)
- Previous internship experience in a law firm, arbitration practice, or international organization.
Skills
- Proficiency in legal research databases and citation styles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
