Job Description:
Interpol is offering a unique opportunity for highly motivated students and recent graduates to gain valuable experience in the world of international policing through its summer internship program. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals on various projects, contributing to Interpol’s mission of promoting international police cooperation and combating global crime.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with research and analysis of international crime trends and threats.
- Support with the development and implementation of crime prevention initiatives.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations on relevant topics.
- Participate in meetings and conferences, as appropriate.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree program, or a recent graduate (within the past year).
- Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in international relations, criminal justice, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and at least one other official language of Interpol (Arabic, Chinese, French, Spanish).
Experience:
- Previous volunteer or internship experience in a law enforcement or international organization setting is an advantage.
Skills:
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with research databases is desirable.
