Job Description:

Are you a driven and intellectually curious student with a passion for finance and a desire to gain real-world experience in an investment banking environment? If so, then Greenhill’s Summer Internship Scheme in London could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This six-week program immerses you in the heart of our dynamic and collaborative team, providing you with the chance to contribute meaningfully to live deals and gain a comprehensive understanding of the investment banking industry. Through a variety of rotations across different teams, you’ll gain exposure to the full deal lifecycle, from initial client meetings to transaction execution, while developing valuable skills and building your network.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior bankers with financial modeling, market research, and transaction analysis.
• Prepare presentations and other materials for client meetings and internal discussions.
• Conduct due diligence and industry research.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorms, contributing your ideas and perspectives.
• Network with senior professionals across the firm.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a penultimate or final year of a relevant degree program, such as Finance, Economics, Business, or Engineering.
• Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.5 (or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen interest in the financial services industry and a strong understanding of current market trends.

Experience:

• Previous internship experience in finance or a related field is a plus, but not essential.
• Experience in financial modeling and data analysis is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Fluency in English, with additional language skills a plus.
