This internship presents a unique opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to immerse themselves in the world of art, culture, and business. As an intern at Sotheby’s, you will be part of a dynamic team, gaining hands-on experience in various facets of the art auction and gallery business.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of auction events and gallery exhibitions.
- Conduct research on art pieces, artists, and market trends.
- Support client services and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, finance, and client relations.
- Assist in the preparation of auction catalogs and marketing materials.
- Attend auctions, previews, and client meetings.
- Contribute to administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, preferably in Art History, Business, or a related field.
- Strong passion for art, culture, and the art market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of art history and the art market.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience:
- Previous experience or coursework related to art history, business, or the auction industry is a plus but not mandatory.
